Roles and Responsibilities

 

According to the regulation on the organization of the Ministry of Public Health, announced in the Royal Gazette on December 28, 2009, the division was assigned the following roles and responsibilities:

1. Research and Development: Study, research, develop, and apply knowledge and technology in health impact assessment and environmental health surveillance.

2. System and Mechanism Development: Develop systems, mechanisms, and models for implementing health impact assessments to promote and support compliance with relevant laws. This also includes developing systems and models for environmental health surveillance.

3. Capacity Building and Networking: Disseminate and enhance capabilities, provide consultations and recommendations, and coordinate with public and private sectors as well as local administrative organizations in health impact assessment and environmental health surveillance. Furthermore, foster international collaboration for knowledge exchange and technology transfer in health impact assessment.

4. Collaboration and Support: Work in collaboration with or support other relevant agencies or perform tasks as assigned.
